A man was recently arrested at the Plymouth Park and Ride after police found him locked in a public restroom. Normally, a locked bathroom door would be nothing to get excited about, but in this instance the man was naked and allegedly did not confine the exposure to restroom. The man was charged with indecent exposure and could face a year in jail and up to a $3,000 fine, a maximum range increased due to prior convictions.

According to reports, a woman called the Plymouth Police from the parking structure on Jan. 13, 2012 to report that she had observed a man walking through the lot without his clothes at about 2:45 in the afternoon.

Police immediately arrived on scene where they found him locked in the bathroom. The police proceeded to search the man, finding sexual paraphernalia and two risqué magazines. When interrogated by an officer, the man said that he was in the bathroom to masturbate because he "can't do it at home and it gives him a thrill."

The Plymouth Park and Ride has several surveillance cameras, one of which captured the man walking nude outside the bathroom doors.

The man was taken into custody but later released on a $9,000 bond. His first court appearance was set to occur earlier this month in Hennepin County District Court. The status of the man's case is unknown at this time, but he could face an increased penalty range because of his prior convictions for indecent conduct, the first dating back to 1995 in Wright County.
